Zhuldyz League: media and sports boost for young female players

Competitions are held in two age categories:
Division A - players born in 2007-2008,
Division B - players born in 2009-2010.
The league has become not only a new sporting platform for the development of young female players, but also an important media step in popularising women's football in the country.
The key feature of the season was a modern presentation: all matches are broadcast live, starting line-ups are published, colourful video reviews, photo and video reports from each round are released.
One of the main innovations was the popular vote for the best player of the tour.
For the first time in the history of Kazakhstan women's football fans can determine the MVP, who receives a personal statuette.
In Division A on the results of the first round of voting won Natalia Mikhailenko (FC ''Altai''), gaining 38% of the vote.
In Division B, Zere Beisembai (FC ''Elimay'') with 30% of votes from 2026 people and Dilnaz Mukhtarkyzy (FC ''Atyrau''), with 39% of votes from 4641 people were recognised by the majority of votes.
According to the sports results after the first round in Division A, ''Shakhter'' from Karaganda is leading with four victories and 12 points. In the younger age category the table is headed by FC ''Taraz'' and ''Elimai'' with 9 points each in three matches.
The launch of the Zhuldyz League was an important step in the systemic development of girls' football, providing young athletes with a modern competitive and public platform that meets the new standards of Kazakhstan football.
