A new football championship among amateur teams starts in Kazakhstan

The initiative is in line with the priorities outlined in the message of the head of state, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, which emphasises the importance of supporting grassroots and active lifestyle.
The new championship covers the whole territory of the country and is aimed at forming a sustainable, structured system for the development of amateur football. For the first time, teams from all regions will be engaged in the competition on a systematic basis. In the first season, 268 teams and more than 5000 players will take part in the tournament, and the total number of matches will exceed 1500 games in 34 different locations.
The creation of the '''Kazakhstan Aueskoi League''corresponds to the strategic objectives of the Federation and is aimed at the general model of football development - from grassroots to the professional level. The tournament is designed to play an important role in strengthening the club infrastructure and increasing the social significance of football in the regions.
"We consider this large-scale project not just as a competition, but as a new stage in the development of domestic football. After all, everyone who loves football can take part in this tournament. Thanks to this league, the number of regional teams will increase, and young people will have new opportunities. Our goal is to develop the potential of football, revitalise sports life in the regions and open the way to the dreams of fans and players. We will continue to support this project to ensure that it is held annually at a high level," said KFF General Secretary David Loria.
The competition will be held in two stages. The qualifying stage will be held from May to September in each of the 20 regions. The final stage will be played in autumn, where the best teams will play for the title of champion of the Republic of Kazakhstan among amateur teams.
The winner of the tournament will promote to the Second League season 2026, will become a participant in the Cup of Kazakhstan next season, as well as represent the country in the international arena - in the UEFA Regions' Cup.
The tournament will be held annualy, with further expansion of format and its coverage, contributing to the comprehensive development of the football system at all levels.
