Kazakhstan Football Federation announces the start of the final selection of players born in 2011, as a part of the strategic program for the development of youth football and the international project FIFA Talent Development Scheme (TDS).

The final selection takes place at the base of the national teams of KFF in Talgar. It involves 60 young footballers, pre-selected by the results of extensive selection work. As part of the first stage, KFF selection coaches under the leadership of Vladimir Nikitenko, Evgeny Sveshnikov and Viktor Semenov visited more than 700 players across the country - in youth tournaments, as well as in football schools.

Based on the results of the current phase, a final list of 23 players will be formed to become part of the 2011 KFF Academy team.

The FIFA TDS program is aimed at building a future reserve for regional academies and the KFF training center. The selected players will have access to modern training conditions, educational support and systematic development in accordance with FIFA international standards for U14-U16 age categories.

"We have organized this selection at a very structured level. Our task is to give each young player a chance to grow to the level of the national team of Kazakhstan. Now we have selected 60 of the best players from almost 700. It is important to emphasize: the doors of the Academy remain open to all whose qualities will meet the requirements. All players are recorded in the base.

At the final stage we will play four control matches, testing and analysis, including recommendations of club coaches, as well as evaluation of mental, technical, physical and tactical qualities. As a result, the final 23-players squad will be formed," said KFF technical director Gennady Skurtul.
