The KFF President Marat Omarov has emphasised that the KFF systematically develops infrastructure in the regions. With the support of FIFA, the construction of 100 mini-pitches in schools has started in Kazakhstan and within the framework of the FIFA Arena and KFF Arena projects are developing credit mechanisms for private investors.

"We have a systematic approach to infrastructure planning. Now we have three areas being implemented simultaneously: for the first time in Kazakhstan's history, we have received full funding from FIFA to build 100 mini-pitches in schools in towns and villages. We are currently selecting schools based on criteria such as social vulnerability, population density and lack of infrastructure.

We also have the FIFA Arena and KFF Arena projects. We are developing them jointly with Baiterek Holding. Now we are forming credit conditions for private entrepreneurs so that they could build arenas in every city and village - we determine interest rates, develop subsidy mechanisms together with Damu Bank. FIFA Arena is a strategically important project. It is financed by FIFA, no state funds are involved in it. It is private investment.

There is an acute shortage of infrastructure in Kazakhstan. Our goal is not only big cities, but also rural areas. The Federation's priority is to eliminate the infrastructure deficit, increase the number of pitches and create a full technical and material base for the development of football," Marat Omarov said.
