Marketing Seminar for Football Clubs Takes Place in Astana

Astana hosted a workshop for Kazakhstan football club marketing specialists with support from KFF partner Olimpbet.

The event was aimed at developing professional skills in sports marketing, introducing new promotional tools, and sharing expertise with international colleagues.

Speakers of the workshop included:

  • Konstantin Klyushev, General Director of FC Akron (Russia);

  • Takhi Omarov, Founder and CEO of SOTA;

  • Tomaz Lejsak, Head of Commercial and Creative Marketing at NK Celje (Slovenia);

  • Peras Klemen, Digital Integration and Ticketing Manager at NK Celje;

  • Ruslan Yesentayev, Neurodesigner, AI Researcher, Co-founder of Gravitation Studio;

  • Anton Lysiak, Head of Media and Marketing at Freedom QJ League.

The speakers shared practical expertise in digital technologies, partnership programmes, and creative solutions. Representatives of NK Celje presented their sponsor engagement strategy, SOTA showcased projects using artificial intelligence, while the General Director of FC Akron highlighted matchday organisation and club event promotion. Freedom QJ League shared their experience of implementing marketing initiatives covering both online and offline environments.

Following the main programme, participants joined a practical workshop held with the active involvement of Kazakhstani specialist Albina Bunescu.

The workshop became a platform for open exchange of ideas and tools to help Kazakhstani clubs enhance fan engagement, expand their audience, and build new forms of cooperation with partners.
