Kazakhstan U-19 fall 2–1 to Netherlands in EURO 2026 qualifying
The U-19 team, coached by Kirill Keker, pllayed their second match against the hosts of Group 1 – the Netherlands national team. The match ended with a 2:1 victory for the hosts.
The only goal for the Kazakhstan team was scored by Aldiyar Nurgali from a penalty in the 86th minute.
It is also worth noting that the rivals missed their penalty in the 72nd minute.Tobias van den Elshout’s shot was saved by the goalkeeper of the Kazakhstan U-19 team – Sherkhan Kalmurza.
In the Group 1 standings, the Netherlands lead with 6 points. Kazakhstan and Ireland share second place with 3 points each. Cyprus gets zero points.
The final match of the main qualification stage for the Kazakhstan U-19 team will be played on November 18 against Cyprus.
