UEFA ‘A’ Coaching Course: Sixth Module Completed
The sixth module of the UEFA ‘A’ Coaching Course in Astana focused on transitional phases, counter-attacks, and tactical periodisation: weekly training cycle planning. Over three days, participants explored modern approaches to organising training sessions and implementing tactical game models aimed at improving team performance.
Special emphasis was placed on the principles of tactical periodisation, enabling coaches to manage workloads effectively, plan weekly cycles according to players’ physical condition and match readiness, and enhance the team’s ability to adapt quickly during transitions between defence and attack.
The sessions were conducted by instructors representing the Kazakhstan Football Federation: Stanislav Pogorelov, Konstantin Kotov, Nikolai Stoyakin, and Nurzhan Abildaev.
The UEFA ‘A’ Coaching Course is part of the Kazakhstan Football Federation’s 2025–2030 Technical Development Strategy, designed to train highly qualified specialists capable of implementing modern UEFA methodologies and standards in domestic football.
