The Elite Youth Football, Talent Identification & Scouting Department of the Kazakhstan Football Federation reports on the national final tournament for private schools and academies (born 2013–14), held from 25 October to 1 November 2025 in Astana.

The country’s top private schools, having advanced through regional qualifying stages, participated in the tournament, which served as a key platform for observing and evaluating promising young footballers.

The main goal of the tournament for the Department was to identify and assess talented players and to create a database for ongoing support within the national Talent Identification system.

Over eight match days, scouts conducted comprehensive evaluations of players across key parameters of the Talent ID model, including technical skills, tactical understanding, physical readiness, and psychological traits. Special attention was given to game intelligence, decision-making speed, and player development potential.

This work was conducted as part of Kazakhstan Football’s strategic development program for 2025–2030.

“Such tournaments are crucial for our early talent identification program. We have observed progress in the training level of players and coaches at private schools, creating a positive environment for football development overall. Following the tournament, a report of observations and a preliminary list of players recommended for further monitoring and inclusion in the KFF development programs was prepared,” noted Yevgeniy Sveshnikov, Head of Talent Identification and Scouting.

The Department extends its gratitude to the Grassroots Department for thorough preparation, organization, and conduct of the national final tournament, as well as to all participants for their professionalism and contribution to youth football development.
