The main goal of the programme was to develop a national system of coach educators and mentors, as well as to improve the quality of coach education in Kazakhstan.
The course brought together specialists from different regions of the country, representing various areas of football — including traditional football, futsal, goalkeeping and fitness coaching. In the future, they will be involved as instructors and mentors in UEFA C Futsal, C, B, B-Goalkeeper and B-Fitness courses, contributing to the development of the football education system in Kazakhstan.
The programme included both theoretical and practical sessions focusing on key topics such as mentoring principles and individual coach support, effective feedback and training analysis methods, adult learning characteristics, and the development of critical thinking among coaches, as well as observation and evaluation of training sessions.
Particular attention was paid to building effective mentor–coach interaction, creating a supportive learning environment, and sharing best educational practices.
Speakers of the course included KFF Technical Director Gennady Skurtul and Stanislav Pogorelov. The mentors of the programme — Vladimir Nikitenko, Ivan Azovskiy, Dmitriy Vasiliev, Dmitriy Ogay, and Evgeniy Yarovenko — shared their practical experience and methodological approaches to mentoring.
The training marked an important step in the implementation of the KFF Technical Development Strategy 2025–2030, aimed at raising the professional level of coaches and advancing football education in Kazakhstan.
