Football pitch renovated in Zhalagash district as part of ALAÑ project

The opening ceremony was attended by Bakhytzhan Pazylkhayyr, Head of the Directorate for Professional Club Competitions at the Kazakhstan Football Federation, Ardak Zebeshov, Deputy Akim of the Qyzylorda Region, and local residents.

In his welcoming speech, Bakhytzhan Pazylkhayyr congratulated the residents on the opening of the new sports facility, timed to coincide with Republic Day:

“Infrastructure is the foundation of any sport. To help talented children grow and achieve great results, we need quality pitches and large modern complexes. Today, the Kazakhstan Football Federation is implementing a project to renovate nine such fields across the country. What you see here is one of the major completed works. Overall, around 20 sports facilities are being commissioned in the region. Recently, the Kaisar Arena stadium on the left bank of Qyzylorda was opened and has already received high praise from international experts. I am confident that such conditions will help nurture even more future champions,” — said Pazylkhayyr.

The renewed pitch features high-quality artificial turf by CCGRASS, a FIFA Preferred Provider, meeting UEFA standards. The surface is weather-resistant, providing comfort and safety for players and suitable for competitions at any level.

This facility marks the eighteenth football pitch opened in Kazakhstan under the ALAÑ project, with four more scheduled for completion by the end of the year.
