KFF Academy U16 win Talents Cup in Bishkek
Teams from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan took part in the competition. The tournament was played in a round-robin format, with each team facing the others once.
In their opening match, the KFF Academy U16 side drew 3–3 with Tajikistan, before claiming a convincing 3–0 win over Kyrgyzstan in their second game to seal the tournament title. Nikita Lisokhmar, Platon Shipitsin and Anuar Tölendi were on target for the Kazakhstani team.
With a total of four points, the KFF Academy U16 team finished first in the standings, ahead of Tajikistan U16 in second place and Kyrgyzstan U16 in third.
In addition, two KFF Academy players received individual awards: David Zarechny was named Best Player of the tournament, while Abai Zamanbek was recognised as the Best Goalkeeper.
