Kazakhstan U-17 qualify for Elite Round of UEFA U-17 EURO 2026

The Kazakhstan U-17 secured the second victory in the main round of EURO 2026 qualifying.

In their final match, the U-17 team, coached by Bauyrzhan Sagyndyk, faced their peers from Albania. Kazakhstan claimed a 2–1 victory thanks to goals from Roman Chernomorets and Abylai Zhilkaidar.

This win allowed Kazakhstan U-17 team to finish the main round of qualifying in first place in their group, ahead of Croatia, the Netherlands and Albania, and secure a place in the Elite Round to be held in March 2026. The winners of the Elite Round groups will qualify for the UEFA European Under-17 Championship, scheduled for May and June 2026 in Estonia.
