Gianni Infantino takes part in the opening ceremony of girls’ schools league

FIFA President Gianni Infantino, Head of the Kazakhstan Football Federation Adlet Barmenkulov, General Director of the "National Scientific and Practical Center for Physical Training" of the Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sagdat Sadykov and a member of the KFF Executive Committee Begaim Kirgizbayeva addressed the participants of the tournament with a welcoming speech.

Gianni Infantino encouraged the girls to play football, noting that women's football is one of the fastest growing sports in the world and represents a huge potential for development.

The support of the FIFA President has become a real gift for the participants of the Girl's School League. In turn, the girls expressed their gratitude and promised to continue playing football and develop their skills.

Adilet Barmenkulov is confident that the support of the FIFA President will be a real impetus for the development of women's football in Kazakhstan, and noted that the KFF will further develop such projects.

It should be noted that annually the National School League of Kazakhstan among 5-11 grades is held in 10 sports, including football. The preliminary stage started in September last year, in which more than 850 thousand schoolchildren took part.

About 130 schoolgirls from 9 football schools from all over the country will play in the final stage in three age categories.
