Central stadium in Ayagoz has been renovated

The grand opening was held with the participation of the Deputy Akim of Abay region Adilbek Musabaev, KFF president Adlet Barmenkulov and partners of the project. A football festival was organized and attended by the Kazakhstani head coach Stanislav Cherchesov who held an open training session for children, signed autographs and gave gifts. In addition, there was a friendly match between youth teams of Ayagoz and Semey. It should be noted that more than 300 students of Ayagoz sports school will be able to practice football on the renovated field.

“This stadium is a great example of sports infrastructure development and a gift for our young players. I would like to thank the KFF president Adlet Barmenkulov and head coach of Kazakhstan national team Stanislav Cherchesov on behalf of all residents of Ayagoz. Renovation of the stadium is a big step in football development for us. We hope that this place will be the beginning of new achievements”, Deputy Akim of the region Abay Adilbek Musabayev said.     

“Our goal is not just to renovate the pitch at the stadium, but to hold competitions here. The main task is to make grassroots available to everyone. We are focused on improving sports infrastructure in single-industry towns. Ayagoz is a town of talents and I am sure in the future famous Kazakhstani players will be from this region”, the KFF President Adlet Barmenkulov added.        

A total of 20 football fields in the country are planned to be renovated for 2023-2025. Earlier, football fields in Aktobe, Almaty, Shymkent, Petropavl and Zhetysu region were already renovated. The opening of the seventh field is scheduled for September 26 at the stadium ''Vostok” in Ust-Kamenogorsk.
