Alexander Keplin: “Wales fans’ arrival brings an economic boost to Kazakhstan’s capital.”

Around 1,200 Wales supporters have arrived in the capital for tomorrow’s Kazakhstan–Wales match at Astana Arena.
The arrival of foreign fans underlines the growing interest in international fixtures and makes a significant contribution to the development of tourism and the national economy. The visit of supporters from the United Kingdom has provided an additional boost to the economy of Kazakhstan’s capital.
“Kazakhstani football continues to strengthen its position not only in sport a but also in the economy, contributing to the development of tourism potential and the international image of our country,” noted Alexander Keplin, Director of the KFF Department for External Relations and Regional Affairs.
