Kazakhstan Youth Sides Face Uzbekistan in Four October Friendlies

On October 12 and 14, two matches between the U-21 national teams of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan will take place in Tashkent. From October 3 to 14, Almaty will host two friendly games between the U-15 teams.
The Kazakhstan Football Federation and the Uzbekistan Football Association have established a long-standing and fruitful cooperation. Their partnership is systematic, built on principles of mutual respect and collaboration. This is confirmed by matches held at various levels – from senior national teams to youth and women’s sides. For example, earlier in Shymkent the U-16 teams met (0:0), while two matches were also played between the WU-19 teams (0:1, 1:1).
The negotiations are currently underway regarding friendlies between the senior national teams of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Meanwhile, the plan for November has already been confirmed: following the home 2026 World Cup qualifier against Belgium, Kazakhstan national team will play a friendly in Croatia against the Faroe Islands.
