Astana Hosts the UEFA C Coach Training Module

20 November 2025, 10:30
From November 18 to 20, Astana hosted the latest module of the UEFA “C” coaching course, organized by the Kazakhstan Football Federation. The program brought together specialists from across the country, including both newcomers and coaches with existing practical experience.

For three days, participants studied and practiced methodological approaches to developing general and specific coordination, including exercises focused on orientation, rhythm, balance, reaction, and movement synchronization. They also worked on the fundamental technical skills essential for the proper training of young football players: ball control, dribbling, feints, receiving and passing, and various types of finishing.

The sessions combined both theory and practice, allowing coaches to apply newly acquired knowledge directly on the field. Special attention was given to an individual approach in working with children, creating a supportive learning environment, and demonstrating technical elements correctly.

One of the key sections of the module covered the methodology for organizing and conducting children’s football festivals and competitions.

Instructors from the Kazakhstan Football Federation presented modern formats for grassroots events aimed at increasing children’s engagement, ensuring consistent playing experience, and nurturing a lasting interest in football. Participants explored the rules, structure, and organizational aspects of these events.

This module marked another step in advancing Kazakhstan’s coach education system and preparing qualified specialists to work with young football players.

The UEFA C coaching course continues to contribute to the development of Kazakhstani coaches and remains an important part of the KFF Technical Development Strategy 2025–2030.
