First KFF Scouting Seminar Concludes in Shymkent
The educational programme was aimed at training entry-level specialists (Level III) in talent identification and scouting. More than 25 participants took part in the seminar, including coaches and representatives of football organisations from various regions of the country.
FIFA Talent Identification and Scouting expert Steve Morrow and UEFA Elite Youth Football specialist Roger Meightry attended as guest experts, sharing international experience and modern approaches to working with young players.
The seminar programme included both theoretical and practical sessions focused on developing skills in analysing, selecting and evaluating promising footballers. Particular attention was paid to applying the acquired knowledge in real match conditions, with the practical component taking place during matches of the Zhalyn tournament.
Upon completion of the course, participants successfully completed the programme and were awarded Level III scouting diplomas, marking an important step in the development of a unified scouting system in Kazakhstan.
