Today, Kazakhstan’s football community marks an important milestone — as the country joined the European football family.

On 25 April 2002, at the 26th UEFA Congress in Stockholm, Kazakhstan officially joined UEFA. This moment marked the beginning of a new chapter in the development of domestic football.

Since then, Kazakhstani clubs and national teams have achieved notable results on the European stage and continue to make steady progress. There are still many goals ahead, and achieving them will only be possible through unity and collective support.

We congratulate everyone involved in football — fans, players, coaches, veterans, referees, officials, partners and media representatives — on this significant date.
