Top League Referees Seminar held in Almaty

Following educational program for top league referees, the Refereeing Department organized this Thursday and Friday a Seminar in Almaty, with the opening session being done by FA Acting General Secretary Alexander Keplin.

The 25 referees had opportunity to deepen the refereeing criteria for several topics, including Challenges, Handball, Penalty Area Incidents, Management and others, in order to achieve a consistent and uniform performances on the field of play and video operational room.

Also they had the chance to train on the field of play with physical, theoretical and decision making process.

The last day of the seminar was dedicated only to KPL league match incidents, where the criteria from previous session have been used to analyze this clips, including different VAR aspects.

Uniformity, consistency and correct decisions are always on the top of the mind when it comes to education material and seminars, and the continuous work aims to improve the level of refereeing performances in the official matches.
