Min 32 – After a long pass, home team goalkeeper runs outside the penalty area and blocks attacker who was coming in the opposite direction. When the foul wascommitted, there were already two defenders behind goalkeeper and in front of the attacker, who could clearly challenge this attacker in case a foul had not been committed.

In these situations, the correct decision should be award a direct free kick and show a yellow card to the goalkeeper for stopping a promising attack.

Correct no intervention from VAR.

Min 34 –Inside home team penalty area, there is a challenge between defender nº 13 and attacker nº 15. The defender stretches the leg but it’s the attacker who plays the ball. It seems there is no contact or there is a minimum contact between players. The attacker unexpectedly let himself fall to the ground.

The Laws of the Game states that a player who «attempts to deceive the referee, e.g. by….pretending to have been fouled» must receive a yellow card by Unsporting Behavior. Referees should be strict in this kind of behavior!!

In these situations, the correct decision should be Indirect Free Kick against the team of attacking player and yellow card for Unsporting Behavior.

Min 90+4 – The ball is crossed from some distance and after rebounds on the field of play hit away defender 22 already inside his own penalty area. The ball hit the upper part of the arm close to the shoulder on a non-punishable zone according to the image on the Laws of the Game book. Besides that, the arm is in a natural position close to the body, not making the body unnatural bigger.

In these situations, the correct decision should be allowingplay to continue.
