Health preservation, protection of players' rights, as well as social and professional integration of athletes after their careers — a working meeting between representatives of the Kazakhstan Football Federation and the Footballers’ Union of Kazakhstan was held in Astana.

The meeting was attended by KFF General Secretary David Loria, Chairman of the Footballers’ Union Board Askhat Tagybergen, and the organization’s General Secretary Olzhas Abraev.

Key topics of the meeting included issues of health preservation and protection of players’ rights, as well as social and professional integration of athletes after their careers. The KFF proposed establishing cooperation within the framework of FIFA and UEFA educational programs, which will help former players retrain and continue their careers within the football industry.

The Union briefed the KFF on its current activities, including collaboration with FIFA and FIFPro on player rights protection with tough match schedule, informational and preventive work regarding compliance with anti-doping regulations, legal support, and conducting educational workshops to improve players’ professional skills.

Both parties expressed readiness for regular dialogue and joint efforts to strengthen legal and social guarantees for players, as well as to develop a sustainable professional environment in Kazakhstani football.
