Taraz Arena Pitch Modernised Under KFF’s ALAÑ Programme

The opening ceremony was attended by David Loria, General Secretary of the KFF; Bekzhan Safinov, Managing Director of the KFF; Serik Salemov, Deputy Akim of Zhambyl Region; as well as sports veterans and local residents.

Speaking at the event, David Loriya emphasised that the number of social projects aimed at developing football infrastructure in Kazakhstan will continue to grow.

“I want to congratulate everyone on this long‑awaited occasion. One of the KFF’s key priorities is the development of grassroots sport. Through the ALAÑ programme, football pitches across different regions of the country are being renovated. I firmly believe that this new pitch will nurture future national‑team players who will make the region proud with their achievements” said David Loriya.

This month, under the ALAÑ initiative, renovated football fields will also be put into operation in the West Kazakhstan, Mangystau, and Atyrau regions.
