Astana Hosts Fitness Coaching Seminar for Women’s Teams
The program combines theory and practice aimed at studying modern approaches to fitness training, planning training cycles, and working on the football pitch.
The KFF Secretary General David Loriya welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of the systematic development of women's football and the introduction of scientifically based approaches to the training of female athletes.
The main objective of the seminar is to improve the qualifications of physical training coaches and to refine the unified methodological base used in women's football. The program pays special attention to the physical training of female footballers, taking into account the physiological characteristics of the female body. This approach ensures the correct planning of training loads, helps to reduce injuries and maintain an optimal level of athletic readiness throughout the season.
The educational sessions are conducted by UEFA instructors Naomi Datson and Melanie Pauli, who present current European training models.
The seminar is a part of the 2025-2030 Strategy for the Development of Women's Football in Kazakhstan and is an important element of comprehensive work to improve the training system for female footballers and enhance the qualifications of coaching staff.
