Tomarly Stadium Pitch in Atyrau Reopened Under ALAÑ Programme
The Tomarly Stadium has become the ninth facility upgraded in 2025 under the modern sports‑infrastructure standards.
The ALAÑ programme aims to create safe, accessible and high‑quality conditions for football training. The upgraded pitch is the latest milestone in this initiative. Following the full renovation, the pitch now meets both FIFA and UEFA requirements, including a contemporary artificial surface, renewed barriers and protective zones, as well as updated engineering utilities.
The opening ceremony was attended by a representative of the Kazakhstan Football Federation, Nursultan Elamanov, the head of the regional department of physical culture and sport, Nurbol Sydykov, and local residents of Tomarly village. Participants emphasized the significance of the project for promoting grassroots sport in the region and providing comfortable conditions for training and competition.
The renovated stadium will serve as a centre of sporting activity for youth and residents of the Atyrau region — offering regular access to a modern football pitch, and fostering growing interest in football among children and teenagers.
