KFF Holds Annual Club Licensing Seminar
The seminar focused on the topic: “Licensing of Football Clubs of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Participation in UEFA and KFF Competitions in the 2026/2027 Season.” The event brought together 25 specialists — financial staff from Premier League clubs.
During the seminar, participants were introduced to the updates in the revised KFF and UEFA licensing regulations, as well as the key requirements that will come into force in 2025 for men’s and women’s teams. The attendees were briefed on the updated financial reporting forms, the licensing procedure and the deadlines for submitting documentation. Particular attention was given to enhancing the quality of financial monitoring, ensuring timely reporting and preventing breaches of the regulations.
The department’s specialists outlined the procedures for cooperation between clubs and audit services, and emphasised the importance of avoiding overdue payables to other clubs, employees, tax authorities, social funds, as well as to UEFA and KFF. Common issues identified in clubs’ audited financial statements were also examined.
Participants received detailed explanations regarding the completeness and accuracy of the information required under the “Club Licensing Regulations.” The seminar also covered the operation of the CL/FFP IT BOARD system, including the timely and transparent submission of financial data and the key reporting deadlines for UEFA.
The seminar underlined the importance of ensuring the financial sustainability of clubs in the current and upcoming seasons. The requirements regarding the absence of overdue payables, the achievement of a break-even position, and the proper preparation of supporting documents were addressed in detail. Financial specialists and auditors were given comprehensive guidance on correctly completing the financial reporting forms.
The KFF Licensing Department will continue its efforts to strengthen clubs’ financial discipline, enhance reporting transparency and ensure full compliance with UEFA requirements in the seasons ahead.
