UEFA Regions’ Cup 2026/27: Kazakhstan Champions Learn Their Opponents

Participants for the UEFA Regions’ Cup 2026/27 Intermediate Round for amateur teams have been confirmed.

The first champions of the Kazaqstan Amateur League, Almaty football club BKS, will begin their campaign from the intermediate round and compete in Group 4, where they will face teams from Czechia, Bulgaria and Georgia. The host venue for the matches will be announced later.

Matches at this stage will be played in a mini-tournament format and are scheduled to take place between 21 August and 4 December 2026.

The winners of each group will qualify for the final tournament of the UEFA Regions’ Cup, which is scheduled for June–early July 2027. The host country of the final tournament will be selected by the end of December 2026 from among the qualified associations that have expressed their willingness to stage the competition.

Kazakhstan will be represented in the tournament by BKS of Almaty. The club defeated JelaevNAN of Uralsk in a penalty shoot-out in the final of the inaugural Kazaqstan Amateur League.
