Walking Football tournament among football veterans held in Kokshetau

On June 22, a Walking Football tournament organized by the Kazakhstan Football Federation was held in Kokshetau. The competition unites football veterans and becomes an important initiative and a part of the social program aimed at supporting and involving the older generation in sports life.

Walking Football is a football game format with special rules: players are not allowed to run and the ball cannot be raised above their head. This approach allows older people to play sports safely, keep fit and improve their health.

The tournament was attended by teams of men over 45 years old. The matches were held in a warm and friendly atmosphere and demonstrated that football is available and important at any age.

In the final match, the Torpedo team defeated Otau in a penalty shootout 3:2. The main time of the game ended in a draw - 0:0

1st place - team “Torpedo”

2nd place - “Otau” team

3rd place - team “Kerey Kokshe”

Best Player - Alik Salybekov
