New International Kazak referee in UEFA Introductory Course

The 48 participants from all over Europe, where Arman Ismuratov from Kazakhstanis included, had the opportunity to receive specialized education on refereeing from UEFA Refereeing Officers but also on other topics like nutrition, fitness, injury prevention and integrity.

They had also Laws of the Game, Fitness and Video tests where they needed to demonstrate their knowledge and fitness.

This was the first step towards an international career. Soon they will be appointed for their first internationalmatches. For this first year as FIFA referees, each referee will have a dedicated coach appointed by UEFA working closely observing matches either live or remotely including in referees’ own country.

In this program also Nuno Castro our Referees’ Director participated as one of the UEFA’s selected coaches.
