Kazakhstan’s Opponents Confirmed for the FIFA Series 2026

The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has confirmed the opponents of Kazakhstan’s group for the new international tournament, the FIFA Series 2026.

Kazakhstan will face the national teams of Namibia, Comoros and Kuwait. The matches will take place in Astana at Astana Arena.

The first matches will take place on 25 March. The Kazakhstan national team will face the Comoros Islands at 15:00, followed by the match between Kuwait and Namibia, which will kick off at 20:00.

On 28 March, the teams defeated in the opening matches will meet at 15:00, before the two winners of the first matches face each other at 20:00 to decide the FIFA Series 2026 champions.

Kazakhstan is among the first countries selected to host matches of the FIFA Series 2026 for men’s national teams. Other host nations include Australia, Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Mauritius, Puerto Rico, Rwanda and Uzbekistan. Matches involving women’s national teams will be hosted by Brazil, Côte d’Ivoire and Thailand.

The FIFA Series format features groups of four teams from different confederations. Each team will play two international friendlies, providing valuable competitive experience without adding extra pressure to the international match calendar.
