Dinmukhambet Suleimenov appointed Assistant Coach of Kazakhstan Futsal Team
Dinmukhambet Suleimenov as part of the coaching staff of the new national team head coach, Ricardo Câmara Sobral (Cacau). Previously, Dinmukhambet Suleimenov played under his guidance both for the Kazakhstan national team and for AFC Kairat, during a period of significant success at both club and international level.
Dinmukhambet Suleimenov is a graduate of Aktau football. He began his professional career in 1999 with MFC Aktau and made his debut for the Kazakhstan national team in 2001 in an away match against Iran in Tehran.
With AFC Kairat, he became a ten-time champion of Kazakhstan and a two-time winner of the UEFA Futsal Champions League. With the national team, he is a bronze medallist at UEFA Futsal EURO 2016 and a participant in the FIFA Futsal World Cup and AFC Futsal Asian Cup. He was named Kazakhstan’s Futsal Player of the Year three times.
Suleimenov played 100 matches for the Kazakhstan national team and is among the team’s all-time appearance leaders, trailing only Higuita and Chingiz Yessenamanov. For many years, he served as team captain and was one of its key leaders.
After finishing his playing career, Dinmukhambet Suleimenov worked as head coach of the futsal teams Caspiy and Taraz-Omega, and was also part of the coaching staff at Ordabasy.
