Construction of the new KFF Academy continues in the Talgar district of the Almaty region. The working design has already been approved, and construction and installation works are currently under way at the site.

The football academy will consist of three functional blocks: sports, administrative and residential. The sports block will include an indoor football hall, a fitness gym, recovery pools, changing rooms and service facilities. The administrative block will house coaches’ offices, medical and rehabilitation rooms, a conference hall, a dining area and technical facilities.
The residential block will consist of a four-storey dormitory accommodating up to 150 residents, with dedicated recreation areas and spaces for independent study. The total gross floor area will be 5,520 m², with a building footprint of 2,171 m².

The Academy will educate football players aged 14 to 16, who will go on to represent Kazakhstan’s youth national teams.

The Academy project has been developed in line with international FIFA standards and incorporates best practices in sports training, education and accommodation for young athletes.

The project was initiated by the Kazakhstan Football Federation (KFF) with the support of Almaty International Airport. Construction is being carried out using the airport’s own funds, without any state financing. The total project cost amounts to USD 8.2 million.

Upon completion, the facility will be transferred to the Federation’s balance sheet.

Construction is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2026.

The Academy will become a modern sports and educational platform, providing young footballers with professional training, education, comfortable living conditions and the opportunity to be part of a unified sporting community.
