KFF launches the KAZCORE young referees development program

Following the Refereeing Strategy implemented last season aiming at refereeing development, on Friday we will start our new project named KAZCORE.

This program is based on UEFA CORE program and will help to develop young referees not only in terms of their refereeing skills but also in terms of lifestyle and professional approach.

During this season four referees and two coaches will participate in the program. The referees will be followed by the coaches in some of their matches and after self-assessment by the referees, coaches will give detailed debriefs on performance.

Besides this work throughout the season, there will be several two/three days face-to-face seminars where the whole group will work together and share their experience and knowledge and where clear guidance will be given.

For this year, KFF has invited Mr. David Elleray, Technical Director of IFAB (the body which determines the Laws of The Game) and one of UEFA CORE founders, to be the Main Instructor in KAZCORE.

The acceptance of one of the biggest names in world of football refereeing, not only represents a big Honor to KFF but also guarantees to our program the highest standards on education.
