FIFA Experts Present Report on Grassroots Football Development in Kazakhstan

The AFEA event organized by the Kazakhstan Football Federation in cooperation with FIFA has concluded in Astana.

The meeting focused on the results of a comprehensive analysis of grassroots and amateur football development in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The study, conducted between 2023 and 2025 with the participation of FIFA’s Global Football Development Department, included a comprehensive assessment of existing structures, governance mechanisms and the potential for further growth of grassroots football in Kazakhstan. Following the analysis, a report was prepared outlining key findings and practical recommendations.

During the event, FIFA technical experts presented the results of the study to KFF staff and invited specialists.The discussions were attended by FIFA Regional Technical Consultant for Europe and Central Asia Gaios Darsadze, FIFA Regional Technical Consultant for Europe Tomas Danilevičius, and FIFA Grassroots Football Analysis Manager Raimondas Statkevičius.

The event provided a platform for professional dialogue on the future development of grassroots and amateur football in Kazakhstan in line with international standards
