KFF Academy Construction by Almaty International Airport has started in Talgar

The project is implemented on the initiative of the Kazakhstan Football Federation with the support of Almaty International Airport and is financed solely by the airport's own funds.
The ceremony of launching the construction was opened by the General Director of TAV Airports Holding Serkan Kaptan. Addressing the participants of the event, he emphasized that the company's participation in this project was not just a manifestation of social responsibility, but a conscious part of the strategic approach to sustainable development:
"We, TAV Airports Holding, sincerely believe that sustainable development is built on strong values - responsibility, social involvement and striving for development beyond business. For us, corporate social responsibility is not a formality, but the basis of all our activities. Supporting initiatives aimed at the development of youth and for the benefit of society is the most important value that determines our strategy and our actions".
The construction of the academy is not just another sports project. It is a long-term investment in the future of children and sports. It will create a systematic base for identification and development of young talents, will provide not only highly professional training, but also conditions for living, studying, recreation and integration into the football community.
President of the Kazakhstan Football Federation Marat Omarov said that the academy would create conditions for systematic training that meet the requirements of modern football, and would be an important step in the development of football.
"This Academy will create conditions for systematic training of young footballers in accordance with the modern football standarts. This is an important step towards the formation of a strong, sustainable base for children's and youth sports in Kazakhstan and the formation of a new generation of Kazakhstani players", - said the KFF president.
After the guests' speech, the construction work officially started. During the solemn ceremony, the project leaders signed a fooball ball and handed it to the young athletes as a reminder of who the academy is being built for.
The total area of the academy is 5 520 m² and it will consist of three functional blocks: sports, administrative and residential. The sports block will include an indoor football arena, a fitness area, rehabilitation pools, dressing rooms and offices. The administrative block includes coaches' offices, medical and rehabilitation rooms, a conference room, a canteen and technical rooms. The residential blockwill be a four-story dormitory with rooms for coaches and staff, recreation and self-training areas.
The construction of “KFF Academy by Almaty International Airport” is an important step in strengthening the system of youth football and in creating a sustainable infrastructure for the training of the new generation. The Academy is intended to become an example of a quality approach to the development of sport in the country, combining the experience and partnership of the parties.
