Football festival takes place in Pavlodar
Foundation for Support and Development of Youth Football with the support of the AMANAT party, the Football Federation of Pavlodar region, as well as with the support of the Akimat of Pavlodar region and the Aksu football club organised the event for pupils of orphanages in Pavlodar region. In total, more than 100 children took part in the football festival.
“Our children, when they found out that they were invited to the football festival, were very happy. We have our own team. They participate in various tournaments, even national. They really like to play football. Today, children received a lot of emotions, a charge of vivacity and energy. I think our youth should be smart, healthy and without bad habits. Children are our future!” said the teacher of the family-type children’s village Saulenai Kenzhekol.
The event consisted of various exercises, fun relay races and a friendly match against the players of the football center "Aksu".
“Today, the players and coaches of the Aksu football club held a master class for us. There were various tasks. I love playing football. I want to develop and become the best,” said Anton Romanishin, a pupil of the regional child support center.
At the end of the event, each young player received a diploma of participation and memorable gifts. An autograph session was also held with the players of the Aksu team.
“We are trying to engage in football as many children as possible. The main goal of the event is to increase children's interest in sports and promote a healthy lifestyle. During the year, we plan that the football festival for orphans will take place in many cities and regions of our country,” said the project organizer, manager of the KFF Grassroots Department Roman Kachanovsky.
The first football festival among children of orphanages was held on February 12 in Kostanay. The following sports events are planned in the cities of Taraz and Almaty.
